Originally from California, Donavon Frankenreiter is a surfer/musician. Growing up on a surfboard, it was at the age of 16 he finally picked up a guitar. He began taking his music career more seriously in the late-1990s, after forming a friendship with popular surf rocker Jack Johnson. With influences that include Johnson, Jimi Hendrix, Bob Marley and Bob Dylan, his rock sound is a laid-back blend.
