Are you ready for the hottest new beauty line? It's about time that Rihanna created a beauty line considering she already proved herself with her collaboration with MAC! Here are Top 5 Facts about Fenty Beauty by Rihanna. Did you know that before her official announcement of her line she already gave us a preview when she wore her products on the Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets red carpet? That you can get the products at Sephora? The line will also celebrate diversity, catering to different skin tones which is great news for many women of color!

Back in July, Rihanna walked the red carpet for the new film, “Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets,” in which she had a small role. When she posted multiple photos of herself on Instagram, she commented “@FentyBeauty”. This caused quite a stir, because it was the world’s first taste of what to expect of her line. By debuting her products on her own face, rather than sharing shots of packaging, she marketed Fenty Beauty in a unique way – and considering she has over 56 million Instagram followers, that tactic will probably work wonders. We can’t confirm whether she exclusively used Fenty products for the event, so speculating on the line is still tricky.

#4: It Will be Sold at Sephora

Good news, everyone; if you live in a region where there’s a Sephora, you’re in luck. Unlike niche brands where you have to order directly from the company, Fenty Beauty will be widely available on Sephora’s website and in stores, though we can’t yet confirm if the line will be present in every single store, or if only a small collection will be available. As for the UK and Ireland – where there are sadly no Sephora stores – don’t worry; the brand will be sold at Harvey Nichols instead.

#3: It's Not Rihanna's First Time Creating Cosmetics

That’s right, RiRi has been working this industry for some time now. Rihanna partnered with beauty giant MAC Cosmetics multiple times, releasing several collections with them that proved hugely popular with both her fans and fans of makeup in general. One of the best known products she helped to create was RiRi Woo lipstick, a riff on one of MAC’s most popular red shades, Ruby Woo. Considering this past experience, she’s got a leg up when it comes to coming up with ideas that are entirely her own, but that will do extremely well.

#2: The Line Will Cater to Diverse Skin Tones

An issue that has become widely discussed in the beauty industry lately is the fact that many cosmetic lines offer limited shade ranges when it comes to base products like foundation or concealer. In fact, many women of color find it impossible to shop with some major companies. Fenty is taking things to a whole new level though, with a confirmed 40 shades in order to be as inclusive as possible. In the one campaign video that’s been released, the diversity of the models was a testament to how this line will cater to – and celebrate – different skin tones.

After seeing the campaign ad that dropped at the beginning of September, the beauty world got excited about the types of products that would be available in the Fenty line. RiRi herself has also shared short promo videos of a variety of different products, including Gloss Bomb Lipgloss, Match Stix, which we presume is concealer, and Killawatt, which is what she’s calling her highlighters. If you’re a sucker for fun product names, you’re going to love the ones Rihanna came up with; they range from Chili Mango, to Trophy Wife, and Chic Freak.
