Extreme Recipe for Cookie-Stuffed Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients:
Here is what you’ll need for about two dozen HUGE cookies:
- 2 sticks softened butter
- 1 1/2 Cups packed light brown sugar
- 1 Cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 Tablespoon pure vanilla
- 3 1/2 Cups all purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 10 oz bag chocolate chips
- 1 bag store-bought sandwich cookies (we’re using Double Stuf Oreos
Directions:
1. You’re starting off by making a standard chocolate chip cookie dough. After you preheat the oven to 350°, cream the butters and sugars together in a large bowl.
2. Then, add the eggs and vanilla and continue beating until it’s well-combined.
3. In another bowl, mix the flour, salt and baking soda.
4. Slowly add that to the wet ingredients. At this point you may have to begin stirring with a wooden spoon instead of the beaters.
5. Now, add the chocolate chips and stir.
6. Here’s where things get interesting: scoop about 1 ½ tablespoons of dough onto the top of your filler cookie. Do the same to the bottom.
7. Next, seal the dough around the cookie.
8. Place your monster cookies on a baking sheet covered in parchment paper, and cook for 9-13 minutes or until they’re done the way you like them.
9. Let them stand on the cookie sheet for about 5 minutes, and then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely. My guess is you probably won’t be able to eat more than two of these yourself because they are HUGE.
