The Wild Hunt is set in the world of LARPing, or live action role-playing games. In the film, characters dressed as Vikings and Celts from Medieval times interact and battle. This battle is interrupted by Erik, whose brother and girlfriend, Evelyn, are both heavily involved in the proceedings. Trying to win back Evelyn's love, Erik finds himself increasingly entrenched in the game's mythology and combat. Shown at 2009's Toronto International Film Festival, The Wild Hunt was found to be the best Canadian first feature.
