Following up its successful inaugural competition last year, the O'Neill Cold Water Classics Series took to the waves of Tasmania for the first stop in year two. The third day of competition saw two to three meter waves, offshore winds and even clear blue skies and sunshine. Bobby Martinez (USA) made his first appearance at the Cold Water Classic Series and made the most of the conditions. Jordy Smith, despite still battling the flu, paddled out and impressed all with his powerful surfing as he cruised through his heat.
