VOICE OVER: Rebecca Brayton
Québec City enjoys four distinct seasons. Summer nights can be cool, so be sure to pack a sweater. The summer sees a fair amount of both rain and sun, which is perfect weather for the area's crops and farms. Indian summer arrives in late-September and lasts only a few weeks. This phenomenon is like a prolonged summer, with beautiful warm and sunny days marking the end of the season. The Québec Winter Carnival was created to compliment the city's snowy winters, as Québec is one of the snowiest cities in Canada. In this video, http://www.WatchMojo.com takes a look at the climate of Québec City.
Québec City enjoys four distinct seasons. In general, there are only roughly four to five months when Québec City is completely free of snow. These summer months range between June and early October, and are probably the best time to visit the city. The weather during this time is hot, with temperatures ranging between 50 and 86 degrees Fahrenheit. However, temperatures in the nineties have been recorded during this period, as well. Québec City is one of the snowiest cities in Canada, receiving on average approximately 125 inches annually. Fortunately, this means there is almost always a white Christmas in the city. This is also why the Québec Winter Carnival was created. Winters are fairly cold, seeing temperatures ranging from -13 to 25 degrees. Spring and autumn in Québec are relatively short seasons. However, autumn is a beautiful time to see the city, as it brings impressive and colorful foliage. With skiing in the winter, and plenty of festivals and outdoor activities in summer, there is never a dull moment in Québec City.
