7 Things You Should Know About Blood Stone 007
James Bond is back for a new and original adventure for the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. Welcome to WatchMojo.com and today we’ll be exploring the 7 things you should know about Blood Stone: 007
Number 1: The Plot
Assuming the role of Daniel Craig’s version of James Bond, the plot centers on an international conspiracy that has placed the U.K’s secret biochemical weapons in the hand of an unknown enemy.
Teaming up with wealthy socialite Nicole Hunter, Bond must find a missing researcher while setting off across the globe. During his action-packed travels he comes across the secret motives of a terrorist group involved in the diamond trade.
Number 2: Gameplay
As a third-person shooter, rather than that of a traditional first-person outing, this action game mixes elements of hand-to-hand combat with several driving sequences. The result of this gameplay decision makes for a more cinematic experience, while forcing you to think strategically about puzzle and platforming elements.
Number 3: Stealth Combat
Unlike older Bond games, Blood Stone doesn’t ask you to sprint into rooms guns blazing, although you can if you like. Instead, the focus is on stealth and precision when infiltrating enemy-filled environments.
Working towards this goal, Bizarre Creations has incorporated the use of stealth takedowns, which allow Bond to sneak up on enemies and disable them with bone crunching finesse. He can also employ ‘Focus Shots’ which unleash attacks with pinpoint accuracy and cause quick-fire takedowns.
Number 4: Gadgets
Incorporating gadgets with a touch of modern realism, Bond will use a special Smartphone. This device primarily functions as your menu and displays your targets, enemy details and mission-relevant information. This all-in-one gadget will not only help you survey the environment, but let you know when enemies are alerted to your presence.
Number 5: Driving Segments
Developer Bizzarre Creations is known for their excellent driving games. As a result, Blood Stone puts you behind the wheel of Bond’s Austin Martin in several spectacular driving sequences that have you plow through fiery wrecks, crumbling towers, thin ice and dodge attack helicopters. Forget simulation driving, this is all about explosions and quick reflexes.
Number 6: Multiplayer
Introducing strategic-based objectives in online play, gamers will take on 16 player matches as either MI6 agents or mercenaries. Not so much about casual free-for-all, this new team-based focus is all about completing objectives as a team. This means that you will need to work with others and hone your skills and employ group strategies to win online battles.
Number 7: All-Star Voice Cast
As fans have come to expect, Blood Stone continues the tradition of using the vocal talents from the films. This means that not only will Daniel Craig’s likeness be used, but he himself will voice the iconic agent. Joining him are Dame Judi Dench in the role of ‘M’, and singer Joss Stone as his love interest, Nicole Hunter.
Conclusion:
Blood Stone’s objective is clear, to thrill Bond fans with over the top action and its compelling plot.
