10 RuPauls Drag Race Besties Who Fell Out

BOA & Scarlett BoBo

Reading may be fundamental, but it nearly ended the friendship between these two Toronto queens. Long before they were cast on the first season of Canadas Drag Race, BOA and Scarlett BoBo were already close, with Scarlett being one of the few queens who continued to book BOA despite her reputation for stirring drama. So when the Not Sorry Aboot It challenge rolled around, BOA figured shed aim her jokes at her bestie, assuming she could take the heat. But Scarlett didnt handle it well and made that very clear during the episodes Untucked segment. Some of the other queens theorized that Scarlett might have been lashing out after seeing BOA, whom she considered less talented, earn praise from the judges.

Alexis Mateo & Yara Sofia

You dont appear on two seasons of Drag Race without forming some kind of bond, and that was true for Trinity the Tuck and Farrah Moan. After competing on Season 9 and All Stars 4, the pair seemed tight until their friendship began to splinter in 2021. It all started when Trinity performed in public during the COVID-19 pandemic, which prompted Farrah to call her out. On the Sibling Rivalry podcast, Trinity stated she was especially hurt because she once offered Farrah a place to stay during a difficult period. Farrah refuted those claims and went a step further, accusing Trinity of making transphobic comments about Farrahs ex, a trans man. Trinity denied those allegations as well, insisting Farrah had attributed someone elses comments to her.

A'keria C. Davenport & Silky Nutmeg Ganache

On Season 11, A'keria C. Davenport and Silky Nutmeg Ganache developed a close friendship, making it all the way to the Grand Finale and tying for third place. They later reunited on All Stars 6, where Akerias decision to sit out the lip sync smackdown led to Silkys one-woman Barbie performance. Their friendship stayed out of the spotlight until June 2025 when Akeria posted a series of cryptic tweets about a certain individual who doesnt have talent. Fans quickly deduced she was referring to Silky. Akeria followed up with more posts implying Silky had stolen her TV, but offered no real details. A few days later, she returned to say the situation had blown over, but without any proper explanation, some fans suspected it was all staged.

Mistress Isabelle Brooks & Malaysia Babydoll Foxx

At the start of Season 15, these two queens bonded over their shared love for old-school drag and the struggles they faced in gaining acceptance from their families. But tensions rose during the Old Friends Gold episode, when Malaysia felt that Mistress and Luxx Noir London had tried to strong-arm their team into giving up the song they wanted. Following the season, it seemed Mistress and Malaysia had patched things up, especially as they both adopted Sugar and Spice as their drag daughters. But even that didnt last. After Mistress announced that she had cut Sugar and Spice off, Malaysia also jumped online to declare that she was no longer associated with Mistress. Only time will tell what turn their relationship will take next.

Alyssa Edwards & Coco Montrese

The sprawling drama between Season 5 contestants Alyssa Edwards and Coco Montrese largely unfolded before the season even began. However, it inevitably spilled over into the werk room. Theirs remains one of the shows most iconic rivalries, but some fans still dont fully understand its origin. Back in 2010, Alyssa won the Miss Gay America title, with Coco as her first alternate. But then, Alyssa violated some contractual obligations tied to the crown, which led to her title being stripped and handed to Coco. Alyssa saw this as a betrayal, but Coco felt she did nothing wrong, and that marked the end of their once-close friendship. This was temporary, however, as the two had patched things up by the time they returned for All Stars 2.

Kandy Muse & Heidi N Closet

Early inAll Stars 8, Kandy Muse, Heidi N Closet and Jimbo formed an alliance, promising not to vote each other out if any of them landed in the bottom. But as Jimbo continued to dominate the competition, Kandy allegedly began plotting to eliminate her. After Heidi informed Jimbo of Kandys supposed plan, Kandy confronted her in the werk room and denied her claims. When Heidi turned to Alexis, who supposedly heard of this plot, she conveniently couldnt remember anything. This, in addition to Kahanna Montrese dragging her for what she saw as sabotage during the Snatch Game, led to Heidi leaving the competition. Although Heidi hasnt publicly expressed any hard feelings towards Kandy, the fallout from this incident certainly strained their relationship.

Adore Delano & Laganja Estranja

These California queens came on Season 6 with an already established friendship outside the show. But as the competition heated up, their relationship cooled pretty quickly. Adores journey through the season was paved with increasing praise from the judges, but Laganja continued to receive negative critiques, which only chipped away at her confidence. Instead of embracing her authentic self, Laganja seemed to overcompensate by putting on an exaggerated personality, which Adore claimed was nothing like the Laganja she knew. This resulted in the unforgettable Untucked moment when Laganja ultimately broke down. The producers seemed to be building toward a lip sync showdown between the two, but it never materialized. Instead, Laganja sashayed away after losing to Joslyn Fox.

Arrietty & Jewels Sparkles

The Villains Roast episode of Season 17 not only brought back some of the shows most iconic troublemakers, it also birthed a new one. Jewels Sparkles had won the advantage of determining the order of the roast and strategically placed herself right after her Chismosa Sister, Arrietty. Was it a little shady? Sure. And Arrietty certainly took it that way, resulting in a heated exchange between the two. Determined to get her lick back, Arrietty then stole some of Jewels jokes and told them right before she went on stage. As expected, Jewels was thrown off her game and stumbled through her set. Ultimately, the Chismosas both landed in the bottom, but it was Jewels who had the last laugh, sending Arrietty packing.

Valentina & Farrah Moan

Season 9s Miss Congeniality may not have been so congenial after all, at least not to her close friend, Farrah Moan. Valentina and Farrah hit it off during the season, teaming up for most duo challenges and getting ready next to each other in the werk room. According to Farrah, they got even closer after filming ended. But at some point, Valentina suddenly ghosted her. At the Season 9 reunion, just after Valentina was named Miss Congeniality, Farrah brought up their falling out in an attempt to clear the air. But Valentina dismissed the issue with a frosty remark, resulting in one of the most unforgettable moments of the reunion. Its unclear where their relationship stands today, but it doesnt seem like the two have mended fences.
