Starting out as the vocalist for the now-defunct post-hardcore band Million Dead, Frank Turner is now a successful folk singer. Sort of. To label him is difficult, as his music has an indie feel, with folk rock mixed in. And of course there are punk influences as well, mixed in with straight rock. The result of this is catchy tracks that have him eagerly accepted in both the folk and punk scenes.
