#20: Jesse & Hallie Eisenberg

Everyone remembers Jesse Eisenberg for his Oscar-nominated work playing brainiac Mark Zuckerberg in “The Social Network.” But here’s one fun fact most people forget—he wasn’t the first Eisenberg to blow up on screen. That spotlight initially hit his little sister Hallie. If you grew up in the late ‘90s, you definitely saw her as the “Pepsi Girl,” delivering attitude in every commercial. Hallie also charmed her way through the 1998 film “Paulie.” Meanwhile, Jesse was still grinding his way toward those smart, anxious characters he’s famous for today. Looking back, it's funny to think that before Jesse took over Facebook onscreen, his kid sister Hallie had already taken over our TVs. Talent clearly runs in the family.

#19: Debbie Allen & Phylicia Rashad

Remember “The Cosby Show?” Phylicia Rashad played Clair Huxtable alongside Bill Cosby, and turned the show into a masterclass of charm, wit, and grace. Surprisingly, she wasn’t the only star in the family. Her younger sister, Debbie Allen, took to the limelight in a completely different way. Debbie’s an electrifying dancer and choreographer who made waves as the unforgettable Lydia Grant in “Fame.” While Phylicia was dazzling audiences with her poise, Debbie was redefining the art of dance onscreen. From Emmy-worthy moments to explosive choreography, the two sisters continue to inspire generations. Phylicia and Debbie are just living proof that sibling talent can dominate in multiple forms.

#18: Dennis & Randy Quaid

They say Hollywood runs in the blood—and that’s very obvious with brothers Randy and Dennis Quaid. Yes, there are two of them! They both came into the industry with the same parents, the same Texas roots, the same love for the craft—but their journeys aren’t exactly the same. Dennis built a steady A-list career in films like “The Right Stuff” and “The Parent Trap.” Randy, the older sibling, broke in early, too, earning Oscar attention before delivering that unforgettable energy in “Independence Day.” But it hasn’t all been glitz. Both Quaids have weathered intense public scrutiny and personal drama. Different paths, different highs and lows, but the same spark. Despite everything, Dennis and Randy still leave their mark writing completely different Hollywood stories.

#17: Liev & Pablo Schreiber

You might not guess it, but “Ray Donovan” star Liev Schreiber and “American Gods” actor Pablo Schreiber are half-brothers. There’s a wide age gap between the siblings, and even though they share the same last name, their upbringings were very different. Liev made a name for himself in films like “Scream” before dominating his title role in “Ray Donovan.” Pablo, meanwhile, built his own impressive path, earning an Emmy nomination for his role in “Orange Is the New Black,” and later captivating audiences as Mad Sweeney. Add in Tony nods for both of their stage work, and you get the full picture of intense Schreiber talent. These brothers are at the top of their game!

#16: Ray J & Brandy Norwood

Honestly, we’re as shocked as you are—but then we remembered “Brandy & Ray J: A Family Business.” Seeing them together on that reality TV show, it was impossible to ignore the resemblance. The fast-paced entertainment world might make you forget, but these two Norwoods are the tightest kind of siblings. Brandy became a household name in the ‘90s with hits like the Grammy-winning “The Boy Is Mine.” Ray J also carved his lane with his debut single “Let It Go.” Beyond their solo successes, the siblings have teamed up on scripted projects like “One on One” and “Moesha.” Brandy and Ray J prove that whether it's music, TV, or family drama, the Norwood talent always shines.

#15: James Arness & Peter Graves

Sometimes you look back at classic Hollywood and realize the legends you grew up watching were closer than you ever knew. James Arness and Peter Graves, both gone now, left footprints so big—it hits even harder to remember they were brothers. James became part of American TV DNA when he played Marshal Matt Dillon on “Gunsmoke.” Peter, born Peter Aurness, went by the stage names Graves partially to avoid confusion with his brother. He played Jim Phelps on “Mission: Impossible,” making spy work look effortless and earning critical acclaim. Same Minneapolis roots, two careers, two genres—both so massive. Even today, both names still gleam on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, a reminder of legends never forgotten.

#14: Taissa & Vera Farmiga

This one you’ll definitely love to hear. Did you know Taissa and Vera Farmiga are sisters? Though they actually look alike, the 21-year age difference made it hard to tell at first. What gave it away was when Vera cast Taissa to play her younger self in her directorial debut “Higher Ground.” From there, Taissa stepped into her own spotlight, becoming a scream queen on “American Horror Story.” Meanwhile, Vera became horror royalty herself, playing Lorraine Warren in “The Conjuring” franchise. They’ve even appeared in smaller films together, commanding attention and leaving chills on screen in their own way. So next time you see either Farmiga in action, remember—it isn’t just talent; it’s a family dynasty, straight-up.

#13: Chris, Liam, & Luke Hemsworth

We like to call this one the Hemsworth Hollywood takeover. Not one, not two, but three brothers stormed the movie world. Luke, the eldest, started the charge, grinding through Aussie sets before staking his claim in “Westworld.” Then Chris arrived and changed the entire game, turning a superhero audition into a global phenomenon as Thor, one of the biggest roles in modern cinema. Before the dust even settled, Liam stepped into “The Hunger Games,” proving the baby brother can absolutely steal a franchise, too. Chris may be the most popular, but the other brothers are totally killing it—let’s not forget, they all look cool too. Honestly, the Hemsworths aren’t just a family; they’re a Hollywood legacy in the making.

#12: Ron & Clint Howard

These brothers were basically born on set. Their parents were both actors, so it was only natural that talent would be passed down. The brothers’ relationship might not have been obvious at first since Ron started as a child star before going behind the camera. He directed Oscar-winning hits like “Apollo 13” and “A Beautiful Mind,” among many others. Clint, on the other hand, became one of Hollywood’s most distinctive character actors, bringing memorable energy to countless films and TV shows. While Ron was making movie magic behind the scenes, Clint was on screen doing his thing. From shared childhood sets to epic careers, the Howard brothers continue a story that’s literally etched into Hollywood history.

#11: Kate Hudson, Oliver Hudson, & Wyatt Russell

Another case of three siblings—only this time, one’s a half-brother. Kate and Oliver are children of Bill Hudson and Goldie Hawn, making them Hollywood royalty by birth. But half-brother Wyatt Russell takes the family tree in a whole new direction. Kate won hearts and awards with her breakout role in “Almost Famous,” while Oliver found his comedic groove on “Rules of Engagement.” Then came Wyatt, trading his ice hockey career for acting. He stormed screens in “Overlord” and now continues to wow Marvel fans as John Walker. That’s the thing about celebrity siblings—bloodlines might open doors, but it takes talent and skill to keep you in the spotlight.

#10: Ariel Winter & Jimmy Workman

Ariel is best known for playing Alex Dunphy on “Modern Family” and Jimmy’s most famous role was playing Pugsley Addams in the “Addams Family” movies in the early 90s. And while both those families had their issues, it doesn’t compare to the turmoil that Ariel and Jimmy experienced in their own family. Ariel’s family battles have been news fodder for years, with her older sister Shanelle getting guardianship of Winter following accusations of physical and emotional abuse by their mother. Retired actor, Jimmy, sided with their mother in the case and he and Ariel are also estranged because of it.

#9: Tyne & Tim Daly

Even though they have the same last name, you may not have connected them together as there is a 10-year age gap between these siblings. Younger television viewers might be more familiar with younger brother Tim given he was one of the stars of “Madam Secretary” for six seasons on CBS. Older sister Tyne might not be as familiar to the current generation of TV viewers, but in the 1980s, she won four Emmys for her role as Detective Mary Beth Lacey on “Cagney & Lacey.” In 2012, the Daly siblings made their political affiliations known by endorsing Democratic U.S. President Barack Obama’s re-election campaign either through donations or discussions with the media.

#8: Melissa & Sara Gilbert

It might have crossed your mind that the actresses behind Darlene Conner and Laura Ingalls Wilder were related given that they both have the same family name. But what’s interesting about these Gilbert sisters is that neither of them was born with the last name Gilbert. Melissa was born in 1964 and was put up for adoption. She was immediately adopted by Paul Gilbert and Barbara Crane. After her parents divorced, her mother married Harold Abeles, and it is with him that she had her daughter Sara, born Sara Rebecca Abeles, in 1975. In 1984, when she became an actress, Sara took the last name Gilbert.

#7: Charlie Sheen & Emilio Estevez

While most everyone knows that Charlie Sheen is Martin Sheen’s son, fewer folks are aware that Emilio Estevez is another one of Martin’s sons and brother of Charlie. Martin, born Ramón Estévez, changed his name early on in his career and his son Charlie followed suit when he got into the business. However, in a fun easter egg, Charlie is credited by his real name, Carlos Estevez in the film, “Machete Kills.” Emilio however decided to keep the family name on and off screen, and said he was very glad he did so in Latina magazine.

#6: Jonah Hill & Beanie Feldstein

Here we have another example of one sibling changing - or rather leaving behind - their family name and another keeping it. Jonah Hill was born Jonah Hill Feldstein, but decided to go by his middle name for showbiz, while “Booksmart” actress Beanie has kept her family name while pursuing her career. Why did Jonah decide to drop his last name, you ask? Well, others have asked as well and Jonah has never really answered the question. What we do know is that it is in no way an attempt to distance himself from his sister, as he has shown up at one of her movie premieres with a "beanie's brother” jacket and has even tattooed her name on his arm.

#5: Warren Beatty & Shirley MacLaine

When siblings have different last names, it’s usually because one of them decided to go with different ones. But in this case, Warren and Shirley both use stage names that differ from the names they were given at birth. Older sister Shirley was born Shirley MacLean Beaty, but when a producer was constantly mispronouncing her family name she dropped it and also altered the spelling of MacLaine. As for younger brother Warren, he kept Beaty but added a second “T” when he became an actor. Both siblings have won Oscars, although we don’t think the name changes had anything to do with it.

#4: Lily & Alfie Allen

This one shouldn’t come as a surprise to Lily Allen fans, given that a song called “Alfie,” which is about her younger brother, appeared on her 2006 debut album. In the track, she admonishes her bro for what she perceives as his idle, recreational lifestyle and television viewing. She also tells him to go find work. Well, we don’t know if the tune had any influence on Alfie's ambition, but just five years later, after auditioning for the role of Jon Snow, he was cast as Theon Greyjoy in “Game of Thrones.” His profile has risen exponentially since then and he even has an Emmy nomination to his name.

#3: Chris & Scott Evans

Did you know that Captain America has a younger brother and he’s a cop? Okay, so Scott Evans isn’t really a cop, but he played a police officer on “One Life to Live”... and if he wasn’t an actor, he would have wanted to be a homicide detective. More recently, Scott booked a recurring role on the Netflix show, “Grace and Frankie” while Chris continues to shine as one of the biggest stars in Hollywood. We aren’t sure how they even have time for all their projects while also putting time into their epic scare competition on social media!

#2: Blake & Robyn Lively

Blake and Robyn are half-sisters and have a 15 year age gap between them, so it might not be so crazy that you didn’t realize they were siblings. Both women became popular at relatively young ages, although with two completely different generations of fans. Robyn was 17 when the 1989 film “Teen Witch” was released and Blake made her debut on “Gossip Girl” almost two decades later in 2007 - when she was 20. And although the last name does hint at their family relationship, it’s interesting to note that Blake was actually born Blake Brown. Blake took her mother Elaine’s surname - which Elaine got from her previous marriage - when she started acting.

#1: Florence Pugh & Toby Sebastian

When Toby Sebastian fans saw that his new song, “Midnight,” featured Florence Pugh, they probably wondered why the actress was appearing on the record. Well, now we all know. Toby, who, by the way, was born Sebastian Toby M. Pugh, is Florence’s older brother. Pugh has seen her star skyrocket during the late 2010s and early 2020s, especially after joining the MCU in 2021’s “Black Widow.” And we also have another “Game of Thrones” connection here, as Sebastian is probably best known for his role as Trystane Martell in season 5 and 6 of the HBO show
