Young the Giant formed in 2004 as high school band The Jakes, and though they call Irvine, California home, each member comes from a different background that goes into making their unique sound. When the current lineup was solidified in 2009, the band changed their name to Young the Giant, and ever since they've been earning fans and radio airplay on the strength of their relentless touring.
