Formed in 2000 in New York City, The Walkmen is the product of the breakup of two other bands called Jonathan Fire Eater and The Recoys. Critics enjoyed the varied musical atmosphere found on their 2002 debut, “Everyone Who Pretended to Like Me Is Gone,” and the band followed that up with another critically acclaimed album in 2004 with “Bows + Arrows.” They have released five more well-received records since then, including their most recent effort, 2012's “Heaven.” In this http://www.WatchMojo.com video, we talk to The Walkmen about their musical evolution, “Heaven,” their live shows and more.
