Australian comedian Brendon Burns has made a name for himself as one of the most controversial jokers on the scene; but he doesn't necessarily feel that reputation is based in truth. Sure, he says, if you book him a gig at a nunnery he might be considered controversial, but otherwise he’s just playing to his audiences’ tastes. In this video, heads to Montreal's Just for Laughs Festival to speak with Brendon Burns about controversial comedy and what that means. We also discuss what different cultures consider taboo, and find out where race humor and religious humor do not work.
