I'm not sure of the comics as I haven't read them, but I absolutely loved him as a villain in IW. He was complex and though he had terrible ideas to what he saw as problems, but those problems were valid. Felt like he was a bit one-dimensional in EG but it fit with the movie that iteration was in

Imagine standing up to a god as a man. It will be tough. Lex Luthor is a fantastic villain because he fights an invincible using something superman cannot fight against: politics and economics. Superman has nothing he can do to him, nothing to threaten with him. Nothing to do with all his strength. This is why he is the perfect villain
This should be number 1. He is literally the villian that Thanos is based on, more powerful in virtually Every way and the Only villain in either universe to have actually fought God to a standstill.
Ra's al Ghul is a great warrior. He can kill almost anyone in one on one battle. He's also so smart always thanking about his enemies next step before them so he can always be ready for them. I mean even the world's greatest detective batman had a tough time against him.
