Despite being a highly decorated officer, he's known for criminally inappropriate actions such as stealing from the evidence locker (to give evidence to his kids as gifts), and taking them on unauthorized ride-alongs. He also sometimes confuses cop codes for lunch menu item prices. Plus, he's a terrible father to his kids, especially Cameron.
