Taiwan and China claim each other's land. Despite having a autonomous government with it's own jurisdiction as well as national teams for FIFA and the Olympics, it is both a country and not a country at the same time.

Recognized by 53 percent of UN members including the United States, Great Britian and France Kosovo is still claimed by Serbia with the support of Serbia from Russia and China on the UN Security Council. With an overwhelming majority of Albanians, it's likely that Kosovo may unite with Albania

This country declared independence in 1976 with Mauritania and Morocco claiming all it's land. Mauritania abandoned its claim in 1979, but Morocco occupies most of the territory as the Polisario Front fights for independence. 26 percent UN recognition
