Created by Gary Gygax and Dave Arneson, this game literally created the genre of tabletop RPGs. While it has had some troubles in the past (such as its difficult time during second edition), it still remains a strong contender in the RPG game through sheer brand recognition.

Weird, wacky, and patriotically fun, this unusual RPG has been compared to the Fallout video games, and not entirely inaccurately. One of the few games where character death is not only common, but used as built-in comedy fodder, Happiness is Mandatory when you're playing Paranoia.

While the entire Chronicles of Darkness line deserves mention, Werewolf stands alone as a stellar reimagining of the classic werewolf myth, casting players as the wolf-man spirit hunters of Luna, the mad moon spirit. With an extreme focus on the hunt, this game will bring out the predator in you.
