By combining a mix of sounds that ranged from post-grunge, pop, and alternative, this wall-crawling soundtrack was able to catch tonally what Spider-Man was all about: Youth, Breaking away from the norm, and being misunderstood, but all the while being heroic and powerful.

While the film it's based on wasn't as great as its predecessors, this soundtrack was still able to pack a punch with tracks by U2 and of course, the infamous Kiss From a Rose by Seal. I mean come on, everybody knew this song!

In a lot of ways, the original superhero soundtrack, when you got a guy like Prince selling out your album left and right, even incorporating new songs just for the film, this soundtrack defines the surreal time in culture this second wave of Batmania had.

when they say "if it ain't broke, don't fix it." they meant it. This soundtrack, like the film its based on, improves on its predecessor by focusing more on the importance of being Spider-Man with tracks like Vindicated by Dashboard Confessional and Ordinary by Train as its choice singles.

Rock, Pop, Hip-Hop, and Alternative. Four distinct styles of music and a decent mix, many of which were integrated into the film itself, sometimes in clever ways (Error: Operator - Taking Back Sunday) this soundtrack may not be memorable, but at times befitting of its titular heroes.

While the film might not've been a great outing, the soundtrack at least has an impact, as well as the first released Evanescence track since their hit album Fallen, this soundtrack also features a strong support from groups like Alter Bridge, Strata, Finger Eleven, and 12 Stones
