1Star Trek: The Motion Picture/Star Trek V: The Final Frontier/Star Trek: The Next Generation
This theme became so iconic that it was used constantly throughout the franchise. It started Jerry Goldsmith's Star Trek career and was used for Star Trek V, Star Trek: The Next Generation, and plays at the end of every Next Generation film starting with First Contact.

  • 2To Boldly Go/Enterprising Young Men (Star Trek: The Original Series/Star Trek (2009)
These two themes were blended together, but the more iconic of the two would have to be the Original Theme from Star Trek: The Original Series. It was played to the words of Captain Kirk's famous monologue. The score was remastered in 2009 and was expanded into a whole new score that symbolizes modern Star Trek.

  • 3Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan
Widely considered the greatest Trek film ever, Star Trek II brought an unforgettable theme that symbolizes the excitement of the film. Not much else to say besides how catchy and exciting the score is, which is followed by the demonstration of the Kobayashi Maru test that left everyone breathless.

  • 4Star Trek: First Contact
By far the most beautiful and soothing score of the franchise, Star Trek: First Contact's theme symbolizes the thought and wonder of if we are truly alone in the Universe. The film includes the first Warp Flight in Star Trek history as well as Captain Picard's final battle with the Borg.

  • 5Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country

  • 6Star Trek: Voyager
Star Trek: Voyager is about a vessel that accidentally goes through a wormhole and has no quick way home. The theme of this show is played during the opening sequence while we see Voyager fly throughout the unknown. The theme fits the sequence and works perfectly what the show is about.

  • 7Star Trek: Generations
Bringing Picard and Kirk together, this theme had to go deep into the roots of Star Trek. It brought the spirit of the Original Series and Next Generation as we see Captain Kirk back in action for one last time. It also uses John Williams' technique that he used in Indiana Jones of bringing two separate moods together in one film score.

  • 8Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home
After the suspense of the previous two films, Star Trek IV decided to wrap up the trilogy by giving the fans a comedy. The theme truly fits the film's tone and reminds us that the past four movies are only the beginning of a Next Generation of franchise additions.

  • 9Star Trek: Deep Space Nine
This was the first Star Trek TV Show to not take place on the Enterprise. It took place on a Space Station. Deep Space Nine managed to deliver the feeling of having the adventure brought to you. The score is fun, uplifting, and is one of the most unique themes on this list.
