okay. technically, the first comic book super sentai adaptation was actually with Skull Man, and Kamen Rider, being the inspiration for the first Super Sentai Series.

as seen in Mighty Morphin, and further, it is possible that a sixth extra team member of either the Super Sentai OR the Power Rangers can join in the fun. weather the Super Sentai and Power Rangers Crossovers count, or not, that's hard to tell.

before the name Power Rangers was born, someone made an English Dub Dub Parody of the 7th installment in the Super Sentai Series, mixing together hit 80's songs. this parody English Dub ran for a total of 6 episodes.

one of the episodes of Power Rangers Dino Thunder also had an English Dub for the Japanese actors. sort of. the idea of Power Rangers inspiring the Super Sentai series, that was a bit of a stretch. but this kind of marked the first time that an episode of any Super Sentai Series would be shown in America. the Ban Dai toy company holds the rights to the Power Rangers Merchandising in America, but they seem to also be involved with the Super Sentai rights in Japan.

seeing, and hearing an original Japanese Dub from the Super Sentai actors before the Power Rangers takes center stage is one thing..., but seeing, and hearing Power Rangers re-dubbed by those same Japanese actor..., who'd have thought?

the Japanese Sentai Series would have a male actor dress in yellow for super heroes, but when Americanly-adapted into Power Rangers, sometimes the Girls look good in that color.
