Considered by Many to be the most powerful armor in the X-series. And is the most recurring one. Appearing in half of the entire X series as a matter of fact. As a result is one of the more iconic ones. It even has a D-Arts figure.

Allows X to jump twice the height of his regular jump. Adds hitbox to said jump. lncreases the power level of X's buster(uncharged shots become half charged shots, half charged shots become full charged shots and full charged shots become WAVE MOTION GUN). And uses the screen clearing Giga Crash as its giga Attack.

As its name might suggest, this armor allows X unhindered full-on flight. It makes every level a cakewalk as a result. Its charge shot is the unstoppable armor/terrain piercing laser shot. And its giga attack covers the entier screen with said charge shot. As a downside it couldn't charge specials weapons.

Renders X completely immune to all INSTA-KILL DEATH SPIKES. Allows X to jump to the top of the screen and cling to the ceiling with the High Jump. Can cling in definitely to walls without sliding down. Changes the X-Buster to a semi-automatic shuriken gun. Omitts the charge shot in favor of a crescent-shaped charged saber slash called the Engetsuri

3rd Armor (Hyper Armor)

Allows X to, not only air-dash left or right, but also straight up. Mitigates damage even further via protective energy barrier. Its advanced radar can detect even the most elusive of collectables. And its charge shot is the devastating screen-wide Cross Charge Shot. Furthermore, Its giga attack allows to shoot multiple amounts of said charged shot

The one that set the standard for all the following armors to follow. This is THE armor that introduced the concept of 'air-dashing', an trait almost all subsequent armors share. It's also the first armor that could use a giga attack. Its charged shot was the versatile yet powerful double charged shot.

The armor that integrated the Z-Saber within X's systems. With it X could now use the multi-hitting Charged Z-Saber Slash along with the Plasma Charge Shot Lite. This Armor could also use the Mach Dash, a multi directional hypersonic long distance air-dash. An almost necessary ability considering X6's infamous level design

The first Armor X obtains. This beauty allowed X to dash and dash jump. Crucial abilities X stuck with for the remainder of his career. Its arm cannon also allowed all specials weapons to be charged for devastating attacks, and also added a new level of charge for the X-Bustern allow for the smashing pink Spiral Crush Shot.
