As Godzilla is going on a rampage in Japan, he comes face-to-face with Mr. Shindo, the man he saved on Lagos Island in WW2 . Remembering the dinosaur he once hailed a hero, Shindo nods his head in acknowledgement, as does Godzilla. After an emotional moment, Godzilla roars and kills Shindo with his Atomic Blast.
