Back in 2010 Will Smith started drumming up support for a film he was about to make about Taharqa. The last and most renowned of a dynasty of Nubian pharohs who ruled Egypt. The film was supposed to start production in 2013 but 2013 came and went with not so much as a whisper of the project and no word from Will Smith.

In an interview in 2004 Tony Todd reported that Clive Barker was trying to reaquire the rights to both the Candyman and Hellraiser franchises with a plan to make a crossover movie that he would write and direct. This project hasn't been heard of since this interview.

Todd MacFarlane has been promising this movie since the first Spawn movie. According to him it's supposed to be a more horror themed movie with Spawn keeping to the shadows. No one has heard from this project in a while.

Back in 2011 word got round that Tim Burotn was going to remake 'The Hunchback of Notre Dame' with a script by Michele and Kieran Mulroney and Josh Brolin playing Quasimodo and acting as executive producer. After a few online articles the project simply vanished with no word of interest being lost or anything like that.

The last time we heard of this R-rated Muppet neo-noir was in July 2015 when Brian Henson was talking to STX Entertainment after failing to sell the project to Lionsgate in 2012. Concept art has been posted online but no word has been heard otherwise.

A script by Caroline Thompson for this biographical film has existed for several years now and has been read by several people who all agreed it was good. The last time we heard anything was in the 90s when Leonardo Di Caprio was triyng to get the film made with himself as Johnny Eck.

Back in 2013 this small sci-fi thriller had a trailer and a lot of people hyped to see it. Then it simply vanished and no one has been able to figure out why.
In 2009 Warners was looking to remake this classic 1930s pirate movie and were interviewing directors, They found the Spierig Brothers (fresh from the success of 'Undead' and before they made 'Daybreakers' or 'Predestination') and everything seemed to be going well. The film was going to be kind of an space opera pirate film set for a 2011 release.
