Yona is not a typical shoujo heroine. She starts off as a bratty princess, slumps into shock and depression, but then takes to standing her ground determined to become warrior like. And at the end of its soul season she does. which is why we would all love a second season so we can see Yona face off against her cousin

Although not as out of this world as a similar anime series by the same staff, Kill la Kill walks the same path as Toppa Tengen Gurren Lagann only instead of being about manliness it is instead focused on the development of two rival girls
