The 40th president almost didnt make his 70th day in charge, he was shot by John Hinckly Jnr when he was walking out of the hotel, his shooter injured Reagan, causing a collasped lung and severe internal bleeding. McCarthy, Delahantay and Brady were also injured in the assassination attempt.

Many people, including hiis own men tried to assassinate him at least fifteen times, with the last being the infamous July 20, 1944, or "Operation Valkyrie", plot.

Afterwards, probes and an x-ray showed that the bullet had lodged in Roosevelt's chest muscle, but did not penetrate the pleura, and it would be less dangerous to leave it in place. Roosevelt carried the bullet with him for the rest of his life.

Yousafzai was shot in the head because she wanted womens education in her country, as it is a muslim country she was shot for standing up for what she believed in

The former senator was shot in the head whilst outside a grocey store in Arizona, she was critically injured as a result, but survived the attack on her life
