Original New Threats (NONE FROM PREVIOUS GAMES)

The recent Final Fantasy titles seemed to borrow more from previous titles rather than conceiving something original, so it would be neat to see a threat that WASN'T Darkness or a World of Ruin.

Drug and Alcohol Presence

Final Fantasy VII shows us a world where people have the same struggles with drugs and alcohol like many of us today, but recent titles feel like they're being censored because of parents or the FCC.

Cute Live Story Between Guy and Girl

Admittedly, many Final Fantasy fans strike me as Disney fans who love the classic love stories seen on the big screen, so having another epic love story like Zidaine%uD83D%uDC97Garnet or Tidus%uD83D%uDC97Yuna would be awesome.

Summons with no Special Requirements

Recent Final Fantasy titles seem to have a Summon monster work when the party is close to death, and some are only accessed after fighting them. So would it be too much to ask for Summons we can just pick up via magic rocks or Materia again or something?

World Exploration

What the Playstation titles did splendidly before FF10 was have your character freely explore 4 or more large continents and/or worlds during your adventure, but now, the games seem to prefer a lazier method of exploration. Bringing back the feeling without blocking out other parts of the world would be a blessing.

Multi-Disc Story

Older titles had you enjoying a long and emotional story through about 4-Discs, but nowadays, its one story for a few minutes while filling the rest of the game with minigames and side quests. I would love a Final Fantasy game that returned to it's roots and told a story about that long, WITHOUT the Chapters 1-15 story mechanic.

New Enemy Models Each (NO RECYCLED MODELS)

I loved Final Fantasy IX for many reasons, one was it's introduction of new enemies. Not a single new foe was a recollored or revamped version of another, so a new title with no need for recycled material and more originality is a MUST for me.

Orchestrated Musical Masterpieces

Sythesized Music seems to be a beloved element some fans have, but having music conducted in an orchestra for such a game is magnificent! Sure, there are a few rick themes here and there, but Orchestrated Music always csptures my heart more than fake digital music ever could.

Anthropomorphic Characters Included

Ian Manning 6 years ago Report
Anthropomorphic characters have been somewhat of a recurring element in games like FF4, FF6, FF7, FF9, FF10, and FF12, but these days, we just have humans who say they're more-yet just look as human as the next. So a few races of animal people could introduce more themes, cultures, and abilities required for a new story. Just my opinion.
