This show was the epitome of '80s action cheese. Nobody was killed, the good guys always won with incredibly implausible weapons, and more catchphrases came from this than any other live-action show. It's pure wish-fulfillment and we love it to death.

Not only is this show one of the most timeless sitcoms ever, it was really the first time an African American family was portrayed in such a close-knit way, as stated by Phylicia Rashad (Clair). "It was the show everyone watched on Thursday, and talked about on Friday." Led by the best onscreen TV couple ever, "The Cosby Show's" eight-season run wa
