Yogi Bear was indeed named after baseball catcher, Yogi Berra. Yogi Bear first hit TV screens in 1958 as part of The Huckleberry Hound Show. Soon after, Berra tried to sue Hanna-Barbera Productions, Yogi Bear's creators, for defamation of character.

In the musical special "Really Loud Music", the 2 mean talent producers Michelle & Doug were opposite caricatures of the show's songwriters Michelle Lewis and Doug Rockwell. They both loved the caricatures of themselves. While Rockwell voiced his character, Lewis claimed she didn't want to because she described her character to be too mean.
