That too for the first time in Cannes film festival history did they give the award not only to the director (Abdellatif Kechiche ) but also to the actress ( L?a Seydoux , Ad?le Exarchopoulos) ,by a jury of very renowed personalities in the the film industry such as steven spielberg , ang lee , vidya balan etc .
