Granted Netflix stopped the anime not even remotely near the end manga story, in fact they stopped just before one of the darkest arcs of Sinbad's past. That was when you really saw Sinbad and friends struggle in a way that shows them as truly human characters.

granted the 3rd and 4th season were the best, and the 4th was never dubbed in English, still the fact the characters grew so much as people should be taken into account.
