Sure, it may have aired in the late 80s, but the criteria should say TV Shows that became popular each decade. so bahm.

Sorry but friends always seemed pretty stupid. Seinfeld was sooooo much funnier. I still think its pretty funny

Defined the 90's better than Friends and Fresh Prince combined with distinct styles and topics found in every episode. It was so popular that its series finale made millions stay indoors. The whole show ran only during the 90's and not in any other decade.
