The Comparable: iROCKER Cruiser iSUP
Slightly longer and wider than our front runner pick, the inflatable 10-foot, 6-inch iROCKER Cruiser is perfect for sharing with a friend, family member or even a pet when on the water. In fact, with a weight capacity of up to 400 pounds, why not take one or two of them with you? At $580, the Cruiser also comes with a range of accessories – including a fast dual-chamber pump – and is incredibly sturdy when fully-inflated. Globosurfer.com called it “a fantastic all-around paddleboard that can do it all.â€
The Racer: Tower iRace iSUP
One of the key criteria when it comes to choosing a paddle board is length. Why? Well, because length can have a lot to do with speed. Case in point: the Tower iSUP iRace. At 12 feet, 6 inches in length – and 30 inches wide – this thing is huge and narrow, meaning it cuts through choppy waters much more easily than other smaller boards. And for its roughly $800 price tag, you get the board and some essential accessories – including a pump.
The Wildcard: ISLE Megalodon iSUP
This thing is truly a beast. Available in 12 and 15-foot lengths, the ISLE Megalodon is ideal for family outings – or if you want to do some water-top yoga. If you really want to take things to the next level, we’d recommend going for the $1,300, 15-foot model, which at 8 inches thick and 56 inches wide, boasts an unbelievable 1,050lbs weight capacity. And not to worry, there’s a ton of grab handles that make it easy to carry.
