He’s Got An Evil Secret Formula Of His Own
Over on WatchMojo.com today, we payed tribute to some of the nastiest, most clever, and near-perfect plans Sheldon J. Plankton has ever thought up on his never-ending quest to steal the Krabby Patty Secret Formula, undercut Mr. Krabs, and dominate the world. We went over our Top 10 picks including employing SpongeBob at the Chum Bucket and hijacking SpongeBob, but 10 isn’t enough to cover all of Plankton’s evil plans. So we’re going over 5 MORE memorable and devilish moments right here! Beware, spoilers ahead!
Tricking SpongeBob Into Being Aggressive – “Walking Small”
Plankton has finally left behind his fixation on retrieving the secret Krabby Patty formula and instead, comes up with a plan to expand his unsuccessful restaurant, the Chum Bucket. He attempts to clear our Goo Lagoon to build “The Mega Bucket”, by convincing SpongeBob to aggressively assert himself. Plankton’s plan almost works, as SpongeBob becomes a “regular alpha male” and drives everyone away, only to realize he’s been used. He quickly switches to aggressive kindness and re-populates the beach.
Disguising as Gary – “Shellback Shenanigans”
It’s “Take Your Pet to Work Day” at the Krusty Krab, so naturally, Plankton takes it upon himself to disguise as SpongeBob’s pet snail Gary in order to be brought closer to the secret Krabby Patty formula. Things don’t exactly go as planned when SpongeBob rushes “Gary” to the emergency care unit for talking and turning green and on his final attempt to get his hands on a Krabby Patty, the real Gary steps in and saves the day in a good old fashion cartoon brawl.
Growing a Second Eye – “Plankton’s Good Eye”
When Karen realizes Plankton couldn’t see Mr.Krabs’ safe combination on account of only having one eye and no depth perception, he uses SpongeBob’s tears to grow himself a second eye. His goal is to use this new eye to help him steal the secret formula, but instead, his evil DNA becomes corrupted by SpongeBob’s nice DNA and when the secret formula literally rolls into his hands, he kindly returns it to Mr.Krabs. Unfortunately Plankton’s kindness gets squeezed out of him after a series of hugs from Bikini Bottom locals.
Switching Lives With Mr. Krabs – “The Algae’s Always Greener”
After a failed attempt at getting shot out of a ketchup bottle to get his hands on a Krabby Patty, Plankton decides to use his ‘Switch-lives-just-to-know-what-it’s-like-O-Mogrifier’ and wakes up as Mr.Krabs. He quickly realizes the switch just isn’t worth it, with having to juggle Krusty Krab duties, his hysterical daughter and a naked Mr.Krabs who took over his role of Bikini Bottom villain. Not even the secret formula is worth seeing Mr.Krabs in a bra again.
Stealing the Kelp Shakes – “Best Frenemies”
Someone’s stealing Mr.Krabs’ business and it isn’t Plankton?!? Kelp shakes are the new fad in Bikini Bottom and they’re taking away Krusty Krab costumers, as well as Plankton’s ability to be the one ruining Krabs’ business. So, Mr. Krabs and Plankton decide to team up and uncover the secret ingredient in the shakes. When they realize the drinks are turning people into Grinch look-alikes, things go back to normal and Krabs even gives Plankton a head start at stealing the formula once again.
