It Just Takes One
When it comes to creative, crazy and confusing battle sequence; anime is the king. You’ve got fights that last for a ludicrous amount of episodes, many using all manner of supernatural abilities, others using raw strength, while some choose to settle things with mental warfare. There are, however, a select few who decide to ends things a little more…promptly.
Whether it’s for comedic purposes or to demonstrate their overwhelming power, these three characters certainly know how to bring a battle to a swift and decisive conclusion.

#3: Killua vs Johness
“Hunter x Hunter” (2011-14)
We all knew that Killua hailed from a family of assassins, but we had no clue how deadly he was until he pulled this little stunt. As Gon and the rest continue with the Hunter Exam, Killua is tasked with taking on the likes of a mass murderer in a one on one death match. Despite his smaller stature, Killua is easily able to defeat Johness by literally snatching out his heart in a single motion. He even packaged it up in the process!
#2: Luffy vs Bellamy
“One Piece” (1999-)
While he’s normally full of smiles, never let it be said that the Captain of the Straw Hat Pirates is unafraid to throw a punch. During his second encounter with the obnoxious Bellamy, Luffy not only finds himself embroiled in a battle of Devil Fruits, but also constantly berated by Bellamy for wanting to follow his dream. Naturally aggravated by this, Luffy manages to put a stop the spring-trap wielding pirate by punching his face so hard into the dirt that everyone watching is stunned into silence.
#1: Saitama vs Marugori
“One Punch Man” (2015)
And this was when fans knew that this series was going to be a modern comedy classic. When the mutated villain Marugori goes on a rampage, it’s down to our titular bold protagonist to save the day. Sure, we had seen him take out a villain earlier with a single blow , but there was no way he could take out such a giant abomination with as much ease, right? Of course, Saitama would go on to shock everyone (Marugori included) when he managed to take him out with but a single swing. After this display, we were convinced there was no-one that Saitama couldn’t defeat. We were right.
