Bring On The Collabs!
Sometimes the only thing better than watching one of your favorite cartoons is seeing them crossover. From that point onward, it’s not so much a viewing experience as it is an event. Of course, outside the likes of Marvel/DC adaptations and fanfiction, its a rare occurrence to see western cartoons cross over into each other’s territory, mainly for the fact that it wouldn’t make much narrative sense. However, that hasn’t stopped us from imagining the possibilities!
While it’s doubtful these series will ever meet, we can’t help but fanboy over the idea of these iconic characters interacting!
#3: Gravity Falls/Steven Universe
With lovable young leads tossed into the craziest of circumstances, what better final mystery for the Pine twins than encountering the Crystal Gems? We can only imagine how much heartfelt chemistry would be shared between the likes of Dipper, Mabel and Steven, not to mention how confused the likes of Gruncle Stan would be over having to interact with three alien rebels. But hey, what else would you expect from a place like Gravity Falls?
#2: Miraculous Ladybug/Teen Titans
We’ve all seen great superhero team ups, whether it be the Avengers or the Justice League, but how about letting the new kid on the block join in on the fun? Mixing teenage problems with the duty of protecting France, Ladybug and her partner Chat Noir have already proven their skills, and as we see it, would shine when combined with a team of other adolescent defenders. Who better than the five teens who live in a giant T?
#1: Classic Cartoon Network
The Powerpuff Girls, Megas XLR, Dexter’s Laboratory, Samurai Jack, Codename: Kids Next Door, Ed, Edd n’ Eddy; to many these were the gold standard for cartoons, and while we have seen some return in the form of less than successful reboots, nothing would be more epic than seeing these characters come together in their own cinematic event. We have no idea how it would happen, but we don’t care, seeing these icons reunite together would be nothing short of magnificent!
