Get your wallets out, musicâs top power couple just announced a massive summer tour!
Rumours have been swirling for a while that Beyoncé and JAY-Z had something in the works, and the whispers were confirmed this morning (March 12) when Beyoncé took to Instagram to announce OTR II, a follow-up to their massively successful 2014 On The Run Tour.
The tour will kick-off in the UK on June 6th, making its way through Europe, before circling back to North America in August, and winding down in Vancouver on October 2nd.
OTR II will apparently be a family affair, as Blue Ivy, Sir and Rumi will be joining their famous parents on the road, according to a source for People who called the tour âa fun family adventure.â
If you went to the last tour (or caught the HBO special), you know that these two can deliver one heck of a show, so expectations for OTR II are high. Having each released a new album since their last time on stage together, theyâve got tons of material to bring together a completely fresh new show.
Their home life has also changed significantly since 2014, as the megastars are now parents of 3. Will the twins somehow be included in the show? Their previous tour featured a tribute to Blue Ivy, giving concert-goers a glimpse at never-before-seen photos and videos of the adorable toddler as Beyoncé belted out her megahit âHaloâ. Hereâs hoping weâre treated to few home videos of Sir and Rumi this time around!
