Unleash The Furi: Hit Hack And Slash Game Coming To The Switch!

Ready To Slice And Dice?

If the likes of Dark Souls and Bloodborne has taught us anything, it’s that gamers love a challenge. Oh sure, they’ll rage about it for days on end, but there’s something about a good ol’ difficulty spike that keeps them coming back for more. In that regard, Furi was just what the doctor ordered.

A surprise hit for the PC and PS4, Furi essentially boiled down to players taking on the mantle of The Stranger; the most badass sci-fi swordsman in recent gaming memory, who were then tasked with slashing their way to freedom via a series of increasingly challenging boss fights.

The frantic pace of the battles, flashy art design and mounting difficulty allowed Furi to walk the thin line between addictive and frustrating gameplay almost seamlessly, which might explain how it managed to land itself a port over to the Nintendo Switch!

According to an article on GamingBolt

Furi had first released on the PC back in 2016 and gained attention for its stylized artwork which blended perfectly with its fast-paced action centered around epic boss fights. It was announced some time ago that the game would be making its way onto the Nintendo Switch, and now it has been confirmed that the release date for the game’s Switch release is January 8.

The game will cost $19.99 for the Switch, and will include the One More Fight DLC as well. Additionally, the very challenging difficulty mode called Furier will also be available in this version of the game. Along with this, all previous updates and bug fixes will also be included with the release.

We hope you’ve brushed up on your swordplay.
