Sex is a very tricky thing to handle in gaming. Depending on the scene in question, it has to be portrayed in a delicate way so not to seem crass and unnecessary. However, these games clearly didn’t get the memo as their sex scenes are just painful to look at! Especially when you have to play through them…

#10: DmC: Disgusting Mundus Coitus – “DmC: Devil May Cry†(2013)
We have a hard time looking at Mundus in his creepy human form, but then you decide to show us him getting freaky with his baby mama over a desk?! What the hell?!
#9: Dirty Talk – “Fable III†(2010)
We don’t actually see anything, but the horrific dirty talk more than makes up for it. What was up with those accents?
#8: All of It – “Leisure Suit Larry: Magna Cum Laude†(2004)
This game is built on really weird sex scenes, but that doesn’t make them charming. In fact some are so awkward it’s hard to describe…
#7: Peeping Aiden – “Beyond: Two Souls†(2013)
Jodie…are you aware the ghost of your deceased twin is watching you get laid? Because he is. And it’s really creepy.
#6: SIE Gets What SIE Wants – “Alpha Protocol†(2010)
SIE was certainly an interesting character and romance option, but that doesn’t give her the excuse to manhandle our protagonist while he’s tied to a table.
#5: Hot Coffee – “Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas†(2004)
The infamous mini-game that allowed CJ to take his many girlfriends home and get down to business. The character models, however, make the whole thing rather jarring.
#4: Too Much Interaction – “Heavy Rain†(2010)
You want your sex scenes to be interactive? Fine. You want to make it overly complex and more tense than one of the Origami Killer’s trials? Give us a break!
#3: Glory Hole – “Duke Nukem Forever†(2011)
Duke essentially becomes a parody of himself here as he gets a happy ending out of nowhere after stuffing his thing through a random hole. That’s not funny, we just feel dirty.
#2: Not Your Usual Lovemaking Music – “Fahrenheit†a.k.a. “Indigo Prophecy†(2005)
Theory of a Deadman makes for awful romantic mood music at the best of times, not to mention the controls for the actual sex feel like proto-Heavy Rain. Awkward no matter how you swing it.
#1: Dry Humping from Hell – “Ride to Hell: Retribution†(2013)
Not only is the actual sex just weird given how everyone looks like dolls, but the fact these scenes occur after the girls have been assaulted makes the whole thing legitimately disgraceful.
