Heck, the way he butchers Gods, massacres Titans and crushes everything inbetween is nothing short of an art form. But which is the most impressive? #10: Hydra

What better way to start your series than by taking a monstrous beast like the Hydra and impaling it with the broken mast of a ship?

#9: Hercules

Turns out Kratos was one labour too many for this legendary hero, as the Spartan ends up stealing his weapon and proceeds to pummel his head in with it.

#8: Kraken

Taking this thing down requires operating giant, ancient machinery as opposed to wildly slashing. The result, however, is so worth it as by the end of the battle the creature ends up getting speared by a bridge.

#7: Cronos

As both a living level and a boss fight, none come bigger and badder than Cronos. Despite his immense size, Kratos still manages to steal a win by slicing his belly open and plunging the Blade of Olympus throught his brain.

Kratos finally gets his revenge on his traitorous father by punching his face in so many times that the screen is literally dyed red with blood.

No matter how many times we fight these things, we never get tired of launching Kratos at them so he can tear their single eyes out of their sockets.

Even with his army of giant water stallions, the God of the Sea can’t escape Kratos’ wrath. Getting his eyes punctured and then having his neck snapped is a nasty way to go.

The former God of War loses his crown when Kratos manages to finally take revenge for his family by spearing him through the chest with a giant sword.
