We’ve all been there, playing against a boss in a video game who we managed to defeat with such grace and surprising ease that we felt like total badasses? Yeah, these ten aren’t like those. Instead, these are so insultingly easy that it kind of takes away from the fun of the whole battle! Trust us, these are the very definition of a hollow victory!
#10: Papu Papu
He may be the first boss of the franchise but that doesn’t mean he has to be THIS easy! His attack pattern is beyond predictable, and you can end him in under thirty seconds if you’re really trying!
#9: Death
It’s the freaking Grim Reaper, by that very definition he should at least be on the higher end of the difficulty spectrum! Nope, all of his attacks are easy to block, and you even manage to steal his scythe and kill him…somehow…
#8: Shocker
Wow, the Ultimate version of this Spider-Man villain got the short end of the stick. Just web him up and lay on the beat down. Rinse and repeat.
#7: Killer Croc
We were terrified when we saw this huge reptile charging towards us. How could Batman hope to take him down? At least until we realised that all we had to do was toss a batarang at him.
#6: Old King Coal
He may tower over Banjo and Kazooie, but if you’re armed with a whole bunch of ice eggs all you have to do is keep pelting him with them and he’ll crumble before you know it.
#5: King Dodongo
Kid Link may not be as skilled as his adult counterpart, but even he can take out a giant lizard when it keeps falling for the same old trick. Who swallows that many bombs?
#4: 343 Guilty Spark
We couldn’t wait to blow this little bastard to pieces, but at least put up more of a fight! It’s not all that satisfying when he explodes after just after three Spartan Laser bursts.
#3: Gary
This guy deserved the beating of a lifetime for all his scheming, and while he certainly gets his comeuppance, it’s over way too quickly for us to enjoy it.
#2: Big Bob-omb
Three backflips. That’s all it takes to trip up this giant explosive and send him flying. Even Bowser at his easiest wasn’t this bad!
#1: Cloud N Candy
If you’re a cloud who tastes delicious, why would you ever try fighting against Yoshi? The one character who literally fights his foes with his TONGUE?!
