If there’s one constant in Game of Thrones, it’s death. And now that winter has finally come, we expect that a lot of our favorite (or hated?) characters will be getting the axe â or the sword, the arrow, the fingers-in-eyes, you get the picture. So on today’s list, we’ll be taking a look at 10 characters who most likely won’t end up making it to the end of this brutal and bloody series.
Before you scroll down, let us warn you. SPOILERS AHEAD.
#10: Jorah Mormont
He’s got grayscale and he’s a hopeless romantic. His death would be tragic, but it seems inevitable.
#9: Brienne of Tarth
Brienne is as honorable as honorable gets. Alas, we all know that honor in Westeros is pretty much a death wish.
#8: The Sand Snakes
Now that they’ve thrown their lot with Daenerys, Cersei will be coming at them with all her might. Plus, the fans don’t like what the show has done with them.
#7: Euron Greyjoy
Handsome guy, full of swagger, and loves pissing powerful women off. Sounds a lot like another guy who had his head exploded, if you ask us.
#6: Sansa Stark
It’s been quite a while since a Stark met an untimely demise. Though she’s been through a lot, the series is not known for showing characters any mercy.
#5: Tormund Giantsbane
If anything’s going to kill Tormund, it probably will be the Night’s King himself. Even then, it would definitely be glorious.
#4: Jaime Lannister
The fandom has a love-hate relationship with this handsome, incestuous man. Alas, it seems like he might end up opposing Cersei’s rule. And you know what happens when anyone crosses the Queen. Who’s going to be the Kingslayer-slayer?
#3: Grey Worm
There is a huge war brewing and it’s unreasonable to expect everyone will survive. Maybe Grey Worm will fall in battle, fighting for her Queen Daenerys.
#2: Littlefinger
He basically caused most of the trouble in Westeros and knows the game so well! Maybe too well. Last season showed that people sometimes get what they deserve, so maybe Littlefinger is next to meet the Seven in person.
#1: Cersei Lannister
The one constant for all the occupants of the Iron Throne over the past 6 seasons has been death. Why think that the Mad Queen’s fate will be any different?
