Supposedly this is an effective way to figure out whether a ghost is in the vicinity. Hopefully it works and Gaga is able to tour with peace of mind now that she is equipped to accurately determine whether or not she is in the presence of a spirit.

$33,000 iPhone When most people need a new phone they call up their service provider and hope that they are due for a free upgrade. Victoria Beckham however, is not most people. The former Spice Girl spent an estimated $33,000 for a gold plated iPhone, which was first spotted by the tabloids back in 2011. The phone, which does a number of innovative things like making phone calls and sending text messages, was designed by Stuart Hughes and reportedly contains 150 grams of 24-carat gold. Dropping your phone is bad enough without it costing a small fortune. Hopefully Beckham spent a little extra on the purchase and got herself a solid case.

For Brad Pitt, this apparently means shelling out close to a million dollars to purchase a painting by German artist Neo Rauch. The painting in question is called “Etappe” and depicts a man in a formula one race car driving past two men clutching what looks like multi colored hoses or a spool of twine… so yeah, art. Of course, the piece is one of many purchased by Pitt and ex-wife Angelina Jolie during the course of their marriage.

While Hilton has been known to live a life of luxury, paying hundreds of thousands of dollars just so her dogs can live like royalty too feels a little excessive.
