Drake & Josh Cast: Where Are They Now?

Drake & Josh Cast: Where Are They Now?
VOICE OVER: Phoebe de Jeu WRITTEN BY: Nathan Sharp
We've been thinking about the Drake & Josh cast. Where are they now?
Many of us have fond childhood memories of “Drake & Josh.” But what happened after? Welcome to MsMojo, and today we’re counting down our picks for the “Drake & Josh” cast – where are they now? For this list, we’ll be looking at various actors and actresses from the “Drake & Josh” cast and seeing what they’ve been up to in recent years.

#8: Allison Scagliotti

Allison Scagliotti wasn’t a regular on “Drake & Josh,” but her role as Mindy Crenshaw, Josh’s rival and eventual girlfriend, was an important one. Allison has remained very busy throughout the years, starring in numerous short films and dozens of TV shows, mainly in brief, episodic roles. Her most substantial jobs have been those of Claudia Donovan on “Warehouse 13” and Camille Engleson on “Stitchers.” She also had a recurring role on “The Vampire Diaries” in 2016, where she played Georgina Dowling. She has also directed various episodes of “Henry Danger,” and in 2019 released her debut EP under the stage name La Femme Pendu.

#7: Jerry Trainor

Jerry Trainor was only in ten episodes of “Drake & Josh,” but Crazy Steve was easily one of the show’s most memorable characters. Mostly because he was, you know, totally bonkers. Immediately following “Drake & Josh,” Jerry landed over at “iCarly,” where he played Carly’s older brother, Spencer. He also voiced Dudley Puppy on “T.U.F.F. Puppy” between 2010 and 2015, when the show was brought to an end. The latter half of the decade has seen him splitting his time between vocal and live-action work, having provided voices for “Henry Danger” and “Bunsen is a Beast!” and starring as Will Canton in an episode of “Law & Order True Crime.” What can we say, he likes to be diverse.

#6: Yvette Nicole Brown

Helen Dubois worked at the movie theater as Josh’s intimidating boss and manager. This role opened up a few doors for actress Yvette Nicole Brown, and two years after the conclusion of “Drake & Josh,” she landed the role of Shirley on “Community,” a role that earned her a Gracie Award for Outstanding Female Actor. Following this, she starred in the short-lived ABC sitcom “The Mayor” and scored a recurring role on CBS’s “Mom.” She has also ventured into voice acting, providing her voice for “Elena of Avalor,” “SuperMansion,” and “Lego Star Wars: The Freemaker Adventures.” She does have a very distinct voice, after all.

#5: Jonathan Goldstein

Jonathan Goldstein portrayed Walter Nichols, Josh’s biological father, Drake’s stepfather, and certified terrible weatherman. Jonathan has remained busy following the conclusion of “Drake & Josh,” focusing on a little bit of everything rather than sticking to one major and time-consuming role. He has appeared in episodes of “Fear the Walking Dead,” “Lucifer,” “Workaholics,” and “NCIS,” just to name a few. He also travels to Kentucky every summer to direct local youth theater productions, and his resume includes “Romeo and Juliet” and “Pride and Prejudice.” Now those stories are no small undertaking. Especially when you’re dealing with children!

#4: Nancy Sullivan

Nancy Sullivan played Walter’s unnamed wife, the harsh disciplinarian of the couple. Unfortunately for those of you who loved her work on the show, Nancy has remained relatively quiet in recent years. From 2006 to 2007 she provided the voice of Ms. Johnson in Cartoon Network’s short-lived “Squirrel Boy.” Following this, she appeared in a movie called “Abner, the Invisible Dog” and voiced several characters in the 2017 Mexican animated horror comedy “Monster Island.” She has also lent her voice to the video game industry, voicing Serafie in the 2016 game “World of Final Fantasy.”

#3: Miranda Cosgrove

The early 2000s was a fantastic time for the up and coming Miranda Cosgrove. She starred in “School of Rock” in 2003 and began appearing as Megan Parker only one year later. Fortunately, these killer roles did wonders for her acting career, and she scored herself “iCarly,” where she played the titular character over five years and 109 episodes. Since then, Miranda briefly starred in the short-lived NBC sitcom “Crowded” and has voiced Margo in the “Despicable Me” series. In September 2019, she began hosting and co-executive producing a CBS Dream Team program called “Mission Unstoppable,” which celebrates trailblazing women in various STEM-related careers.

#2: Josh Peck

We all know that Josh Peck is currently in the midst of one of the greatest glow ups of all time. But what else is he up to? Luckily, Josh is staying relevant by doing… well, a little bit of everything. He has done a lot of vocal work since leaving “Drake & Josh,” providing voices for the “Ice Age” series, “The Angry Birds Movie,” and “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles,” where he voiced Casey Jones throughout the series’ five-year run. He also popped up in an episode of “Fuller House” and currently runs his popular, eponymous YouTube channel. We’re also happy to report that he has married his girlfriend, Paige O’Brien, and the two welcomed a son in December of 2018.

#1: Drake Bell

Josh’s onscreen other half has also remained busy since the conclusion of “Drake & Josh,” primarily in the world of voice acting. He has provided voices for a host of animated programs, including “Phineas and Ferb,” “Ben 10,” and “The Adventures of Kid Danger.” His most substantial post-“Drake & Josh” role is that of Peter Parker/Spider-Man, who he voiced in “Ultimate Spider-Man” throughout its four-season, 104-episode run. He has also reprised the role for “Avengers Assemble” and “Hulk and the Agents of S.MA.S.H.” Unfortunately, Bell has also suffered some setbacks in recent years, as his mansion was foreclosed in 2014 and he was charged with his second DUI and sentenced to four days in jail in 2015.
