#11: Carmen Electra

The singer and actress played the role of Lani McKenzie on “Baywatch” for only one season, but she left her mark on the franchise. The show established her as a late nineties sex symbol. She started hosting MTV’s “Singled Out” in 1997. After her time on “Baywatch,” Electra made film appearances in the “Scary Movie” franchise, “Starsky & Hutch,” and “Cheaper by the Dozen 2.” She also got into reality television, serving as a guest judge on “So You Think You Can Dance” in 2011 and “Britain’s Got Talent” in 2012. Electra fans also caught her in the 2020 Michael Jordan documentary, “The Last Dance,” where she spoke about her relationship with former NBA player Dennis Rodman.

#10: Nicole Eggert

Fans of “Baywatch” knew her as Summer Quinn, the youngest member of the team and a student on the side. She stayed on the beach for two seasons but felt like the show was taking her reputation in the wrong direction. After being released from her contract, Eggert stuck mostly to television, turning up in an episode of “Gilmore Girls” in 2001 and acting in several TV movies. In 2022, she appeared on Clayton Echard’s season of “The Bachelor” to lead a Baywatch-themed group date. She’s also stayed busy as an entrepreneur, opening an ice cream truck in 2014.

#9: Erika Eleniak

Part of the original cast of “Baywatch,” Erika Eleniak played the role of Shauni McClain. Eleniak and co-star Billy Warlock left the show when their characters moved to Australia. Life imitated art when the two got engaged, but their relationship didn’t last. Eleniak went on to appear in reality shows, including “The Real Gilligan’s Island” and “Celebrity Fit Club.” In 2020, Eleniak took her talents to podcasting, hosting a show called “Spiritual Alchemy with Erika” about finding self-empowerment. She’s set to star in the horror anthology “Campfire” in 2022.

#8: Gregory Alan Williams

The dependable Sergeant Garner Ellerbee, played by Gregory Alan Williams, was a staple on “Baywatch” for six seasons. Williams left the show in 1998 and continued working as an actor in all sorts of roles. He scored roles in “Remember the Titans” and “The Sopranos” in the early aughts. More recently, he has shared the screen with Arnold Schwarzenegger in “Terminator Genisys” and appeared as Sheriff Deever in the dark superhero film “Brightburn.” He has a regular role on the HBO black comedy “The Righteous Gemstones” as Martin Imari.

#7: David Charvet

Matt Brody’s career wound up taking a trip across another ocean. The young actor played the Baywatch stud for three seasons, then he spent two years working on “Melrose Place” as Craig Field. He returned to his native France and released three pop rock albums between 1997 and 2004. His debut single, “Should I Leave,” rose to #3 on the French charts. He returned to acting in 2006. In 2017, Charvet appeared on “Celebrity Apprentice” and garnered criticism for refusing to sit behind his then-wife, Brooke Burke, on a motorbike.

#6: Alexandra Paul

After departing from her role as the statuesque Lieutenant Stephanie Holden, Alexandra Paul pursued more work on television. She found roles on “Melrose Place” and later “Mad Men.” She also began speaking out for political causes. In 2005, she was arrested at a pro-electric car protest. She swam the 11 mile Fiji Swim, 12.5 mile Swim Around Key West, and the 14 mile 2014 Reto Acapulco Swim and later became a certified health coach. She hasn’t left the acting world, however — she’s set to appear in the horror-mystery movie “Tethered” in 2022.

#5: Billy Warlock

It took him a few more stints on soaps, but Billy Warlock eventually left Hollywood behind. After departing his role as Eddie Kramer on “Baywatch,” Warlock returned to “Days of Our Lives” as his character Frankie Brady. Additionally he was also cast on “General Hospital,” “The Young and the Restless,” and “One Life to Live.” However, he has not appeared on screen since 2010. He married his “Days of Our Lives” co-star Julie Pinson and moved to Colorado to help run a skiing school, swapping the sand for the snow.

#4: Jeremy Jackson

This story takes a bit of a dark turn. Jeremy Jackson was known on “Baywatch” for playing Mitch Buchannon’s son, Hobie, in seasons 2 through 10. However, after the show ended, Jackson wound up facing legal troubles. Jackson has spoken about his struggles with addiction. He appeared on reality television shows including “Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew” in 2011 and “Celebrity Big Brother” in 2015, from which he was removed after exposing a castmates’ chest while intoxicated. He wound up serving jail time a few years later when he pled no contest to a count of assault with a deadly weapon after stabbing a woman.

#3: Yasmine Bleeth

The actress played the strong-willed Caroline Holden on “Baywatch,” but her life in Hollywood was less than easy. Bleeth actually may have been let go from the show due to her substance abuse issues. In 2001, she was arrested and pleaded guilty to drug possession and driving while impaired. Her record was cleared in 2004 after she fulfilled the terms of her probation. Bleeth has not returned to the screen, instead focusing on her sobriety. As of 2020, she was living a quiet life in both Los Angeles, California, and Scottsdale, Arizona with her husband.

#2: Pamela Anderson

Roles, writing, marriages, causes — you name it, Pam’s done it. Anderson played the role of CJ Parker on “Baywatch” for five seasons, but the end of her run on the beach did not stop her celebrity journey. She continued acting and also wrote several books. An activist, Anderson has promoted animal rights, criticized pornography, and raised money to help people with HIV and AIDS. She has been married and remarried a number of times, with several whirlwind romances in the books. She holds the record for the most Playboy covers with 14. As if she isn’t busy enough, she also made a cameo in the 2017 “Baywatch” movie and is currently the subject of a mini series on Hulu.

#1: David Hasselhoff

The Hoff is still hustling. After his time as father figure and lifeguard leader Mitch Buchannon came to an end, David Hasselhoff kept on acting and singing. He’s even made several appearances as himself in popular movies like the 2004 “Spongebob SquarePants Movie” and 2017’s “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.” He busted out his dancing shoes for season 11 of “Dancing with the Stars” and judged “America’s Got Talent” from 2006 until 2009. He’s released 15 studio albums. In 2020, Hasselhoff dipped his toe in the heavy metal scene with his song, “Through the Night.” His time management must truly be something special — he even showed up in the 2017 “Baywatch” film.
