Travel Guide - Greece: Culture

VOICE OVER: Rebecca Brayton

The rich history of this country has evolved into a vibrant and lively culture. Greek cuisine is similar to other Mediterranean diets: The use of olive oil, fresh vegetables, various meats, olives and yogurt is standard. Ingredients and recipes vary with the season and geographical position. Greek art is also legendary, with the sculpture and architecture of ancient Greece greatly influencing that which came after it. Greek sculpture was generally replicated from live models, and showcased an interest in naturalism. And finally, Greek music is distinctive for its use of the Bouzouki, an instrument similar to a lute or guitar. In this video, http://www.WatchMojo.com profiles the culture of Greece.
