Having a nifty blade is one of the pre-requisites for anime characters. Right up there with spikey hair and daddy problems. Welcome to WatchMojo.com, and today we're counting down the Top 10 Swords In Anime.

For this list, we're looking at the most popular anime swords. There are a few stipulations, though. For starters, we're only looking at physical objects, rather than energy projections like the spirit Sword. We're also sticking to actual swords here, meaning no knives, beam sabers, scissor blades or anything like that...

• #10: Samehada (Shark Skin)
• #9: Future Trunks' Sword
• #8: Elucidator and Dark Repulser
• #7: Toyako Bokutō
• #6: Sakabatou
• #5: Kurikara
• #4: Tessaiga
• #3: Zangetsu
• #2: Excalibur
• #1: Dragon Slayer
