After taking a family trip to Italy in his youth, Alex Tagliani caught the fever for racing. His grandfather had introduced him to karting, and Tagliani never looked back after discovering he had a talent. Perhaps best known for his Champ Car career that spanned from 2000 to 2007 and during which he earned four pole positions, in 2008 he transitioned over to stock cars and remains there to this day.
