Top 10 Best Looks at the 2026 Oscars
WRITTEN BY: Cassondra Feltus
#10: Rose Byrne
Academy Award nominee Rose Byrne attended the Oscars after nearly 15 years, and wow, did she make that return a fashionable one. Styled by Kate Young, the “If I Had Legs I’d Kick You” star graced the red carpet wearing a strapless custom Dior couture black crepe gown. What made the dress stand out was its colorful floral embroidery that crossed the bodice and went down into a flared skirt with a small train. Her red lip brought out the hints of red in the flowers, while her sleek updo let the jewels really shine. Byrne kept it minimal with diamond studs from Taffin by James De Givenchy, as well as a cognac diamond and chocolate enamel necklace.
#9: Li Jun Li
At the 2026 Actor Awards, Li Jun Li was a showstopper in a red sequin dress by Aadnevik. She turned even more heads at this year’s Academy Awards, wearing another red number, a sculptural Gaurav Gupta ensemble with a daring thigh-high slit from the Divine Androgyne Spring/Summer ‘26 couture collection. The lace-up detailing and long, swirling train made this piece truly a red-hot work of art that fit Li like a glove. Makeup artist Sarah Hill gave her a rosy cheek and lip. And Li accessorized with Fope jewelry and matching red Jimmy Choo heels.
#8: Mikey Madison
Last year’s Best Actress winner, Mikey Madison, returned as a presenter at the 98th Academy Awards in another gorgeous gown by Dior. The “Anora” star hit the red carpet again in a very different look than the pink chic number she wore last year: a deep red velvet off-the-shoulder dress with red beaded straps, structural bodice, and draping at the waist. The high slit on the right gave us a peek at her pair of black Giuseppe Zanotti Lilibeth 105 sandals. Madison’s tousled, Old Hollywood waves, rosy lip, and Tiffany & Co. jewelry tied the whole sultry look together.
#7: Demi Moore
For the 2026 Oscars, Demi Moore’s stylist Brad Goreski said his client wanted to attend wearing a “work of art.” And that’s exactly what he delivered. Moore turned heads on the red carpet in a custom Gucci mermaid-style creation with black feathers at the neckline and hem. The “Black Swan”-esque look featured scale-like features in metallic green tones at the waist that flowed into more feathers at the bottom with a plumed train. Hair stylist Dimitris Giannetos kept Moore’s signature waist-length dark hair straight and parted in the middle. Boucheron emerald earrings and bracelets complemented the jewel tones in the dress and her beautiful green eyes.
#6: McKenna Grace
The red carpet saw lots of bold looks this year, but for young starlet McKenna Grace, it was all about fairytale fashion. Stylist Molly Dickson dressed her in a custom Vera Wang blush pink Italian silk ball gown with a basque waist and voluminous pleated skirt. The scooped neckline and matching double face satin shawl really pulled the “stroke of midnight” princess look together perfectly. Her soft and glowy makeup, elegant updo, and sparkling jewels were the finishing touches. We can’t wait to see McKenna grace another red carpet.
#5: Chase Infiniti
Throughout the 2025-2026 award season, breakout star Chase Infiniti has continued to wow us with one fierce look after another. For the 98th Academy Awards, she dominated the red carpet in a custom Louis Vuitton lavender dress with a fitted bodice and halter neckline. Multilayered ruffles at the hip cascaded down into a flowing train. Infiniti added some sparkle with De Beers London jewels, including a 57-carat yellow diamond ‘Summer’ Choker Necklace from the Metamorphosis 2023 Couture Collection. Coree Moreno styled her hair in long boho braids down her back, adding a youthful touch to the overall look.
#4: Charithra Chandran
With roles in two Netflix hit series, “Bridgerton” and “One Piece,” Charithra Chandran is definitely one to watch on screen and on the red carpet. The actress made her Oscars debut this year wearing a strapless emerald green silk corseted gown with a plunging sweetheart neckline from Miss Sohee’s Spring/Summer 2024 Couture Collection. The long, sculptural train brought the drama to an overall opulent, regal look. And Chandran topped it all off with an elegant updo and some sparkle from a Chopard diamond necklace and matching earrings.
#3: Elle Fanning
To the surprise of no one, Best Supporting Actress nominee Elle Fanning killed it on the red carpet at the 2026 Oscars. The fashion icon is known for her ethereal princess looks, and once again, she graced the red carpet looking like royalty. Fanning’s stylist, Samantha McMillen, dressed her in a custom Givenchy white gown designed by Sarah Burton. Eye-catching iridescent wisteria petals adorned the corset bodice and the bottom of the tulle skirt. Fanning’s vintage Cartier leaf-motif necklace from 1903 perfectly complemented the intricate embellishments. A chic low bun and fresh-faced makeup topped off the princess look.
#2: Barbie Ferreira
For the 98th Academy Awards, “Euphoria” star Barbie Ferreira went full bombshell in a GapStudio by Zac Posen figure-hugging dress in cobalt blue moiré taffeta. The custom gown featured a sculpted corset bodice and a button-down overskirt inspired by the iconic Gap Big Shirt, with the sleeves tied in a giant bow at the back. Ferreira was very on trend channeling Old Hollywood glam with side-parted waves courtesy of Clayton Hawkins, while still serving modern, vibrant, and youthful. Ferreira completed the look with De Beers jewelry and a Leviev ‘Contra’ Ring, and a pair of Christian Louboutin heels.

Kate Hudson may not have taken home the gold statue at this year’s Oscars. But she stole the show in a jaw-dropping ensemble. Styled by Sophie Lopez, the Best Actress nominee stepped out in a custom Giorgio Armani Privé jade-green gown with a peplum bodice and plunging sweetheart neckline. The bustier top is from the Spring/Summer 2026 “Jade” collection designed by Silvana Armani. But instead of pants, the designer crafted Hudson a matching floor-length skirt covered in the same stone and crystal embroidery. Renato Campora styled Hudson’s blonde tresses in beautiful Old Hollywood soft waves. Hudson shared the carpet with her mother, actress Goldie Hawn, who contrasted her daughter in a black and silver Grayseful by Maria Lopez gown.
