Top 10 Harry Styles Live Performances
WRITTEN BY: Tal Fox
#10: “Kiwi”
Live in Studio (2017)
“Kiwi” is already a monster in a packed stadium, but hearing it in a live studio setting is a whole different experience. With all the flashy stage effects stripped away, you’re left with nothing but those gritty guitar riffs and Harry’s raw, unfiltered vocals. The whole thing feels way more up-close and personal, but somehow none of the energy gets lost. If anything, the song hits even harder in this setting. Fans still rave about that legendary Los Angeles show where Harry played “Kiwi” three times in a row, apparently because he wasn’t ready to call it a night. But honestly, it’s these kinds of performances that remind us why he’s the real deal.
#9: “Only Angel”
“The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show” (2017)
You couldn’t have picked a better song for this moment, and you could tell the Angels were loving every second. This performance was basically his way of announcing to the world that he’d arrived as a solo artist. Rocking a sharp suit, he owned the stage with all the swagger and confidence you’d expect. Even with all the runway action around him, he managed to steal the spotlight. This was a huge turning point, showing off his wild energy and proving he could go from pop heartthrob to full-on rock star without missing a beat. Not everyone can pull off a moment like this, but Harry made it look effortless.
#8: “Juice”
“BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge” (2019)
Turning up at the Live Lounge and covering Lizzo’s “Juice” was the kind of surprise we didn’t know we needed. Harry put his own playful spin on the track, keeping all the fun of the original but adding that signature charm. His vocals were smooth, his vibe was relaxed, and the whole thing just felt like a good time. The cover blew up online, and it was clear he’s not afraid to step out of his comfort zone or shine a light on artists he loves. Lizzo definitely noticed too, and before long, the pair even performed the song together, turning the whole experience into a memorable crossover fans loved.
#7: “Sign of the Times”
“The Graham Norton Show” (2007-)
Harry’s debut solo single needed a big moment, and his performance of “Sign of the Times” on “The Graham Norton Show” totally delivered. Without all the bells and whistles of a huge arena, the focus was all on his voice, and wow, did he bring the emotion. Every lyric hit hard, and you could feel how much he poured into the song’s dramatic build. The stripped-back setup really showed off his vocal range and his ability to keep everyone glued to their seats. This was the moment that made it clear Harry was ready to stand on his own as a solo artist. This isn’t the only “Graham Norton” performance we adore, either.
#6: “Satellite”
“One Night Only in New York” (2022)
Styles’ first-ever live performance of “Satellite” was a real treat for fans and marked a major shake-up in his setlist. He chose this moment to debut the song in honor of Harry’s House, easing in with a mellow indie-pop vibe before cranking things up to a full-blown rock anthem. Some say this was also the night the now-iconic “Satellite Stomp” made its first appearance. Dressed head-to-toe in a custom Gucci suit covered in hearts, Harry’s infectious energy during the “spinning out” bridge had the whole arena on its feet. This performance set the standard for every “Satellite” that followed and quickly became a highlight of the record-breaking Love On Tour.
#5: “As It Was”
“Coachella” (2022)
Headlining Coachella is a monumental achievement, and this performance quickly became one of the defining highlights of his historic set. With a sea of festival-goers belting out every lyric, the song morphed from a nostalgic synth-pop track into a massive, communal anthem that echoed across the desert. The energy was absolutely electric, and you could tell just how much this moment meant to both Harry and his fans. The live arrangement leaned harder into the rock elements, giving the song a fresh edge that set it apart from the studio version. This wasn’t just the launch of a new era; it was the moment Harry had well and truly arrived.
#4: “Woman”
Live in Studio (2017)
Talk about pure, sophisticated charm personified. Without the distractions of a massive stage, the focus here shifts to his incredible vocal control and the song’s intricate, jazzy swagger. While the album version of “Woman” is known for its sultry piano stabs and the “duck” sounds, the live studio version seemingly amplifies the psychedelic rock elements. He sings with an undeniable confidence, delivering those smooth lines and captivating listeners with every note. This performance shows his theatricality and ability to effortlessly command attention with just his voice and presence. It’s a masterclass in suave showmanship, proving his artistry goes far beyond just stadium showstoppers.
#3: “Aperture" (The Finale)”
“One Night in Manchester” (2026)
Harry chose to bookend his set with his lead single, “Aperture.” Performing the same song twice is a rare move for Styles, but he transformed the grand finale into a communal anthem. The idea is to bridge the gap between himself and the fans, reinforcing the “togetherness” theme of his upcoming “Together, Together” tour. Because the show was strictly phone-free (fans used disposable cameras), the finale felt more visceral. Without a sea of glowing screens, the focus was entirely on the performance and atmosphere. It’s clear he’s having the time of his life as he’s energized by pure rock-star adrenaline. We felt well and truly welcomed to the “Together” era!
#2: “Falling”
“40th BRIT Awards” (2020)
This performance of “Falling” at the BRITs is often remembered as one of the most visually striking and emotionally raw moments of his solo career. The stage transformed into a minimalist flooded set, with Harry standing in a pool of water that appeared to spill from two pianos behind him. Accompanied by said pianos, the stripped arrangement allowed every lyric to reverberate across the quiet room. You could even hear the rasp and breath in his voice, details that made the heartbreak feel painfully authentic. It was also his first time performing as a solo artist at the BRITs after One Direction’s hiatus. And honestly, even listening to it now gives us chills.

#1: “Watermelon Sugar”
“63rd Annual Grammy Awards” (2021)
Opening the show during the mid-pandemic era required a specific kind of energy; his performance felt both intimate and effortlessly cool. Teaming up with Devonté Hynes, he took this number and gave it a little makeover, introducing a gritty, bass-heavy jazz-rock sound to the usual shiny summer-pop vibes. It was the kind of performance that proved he’s not just a pop star, but a true musician who isn’t afraid to shake things up. And yes, the green feather boa became instantly iconic. By the end of the night, he also took home Best Pop Solo Performance and effectively “graduated” into the upper echelon of music royalty. Now that’s how you open the Grammys!
