While he's young, wild and free, Wiz still knows how to make it hot. Welcome to WatchMojo.com and today we're counting down our picks for the Top 10 Wiz Khalifa Songs. For this list we're looking at Khalifa's fiercest tracks that still keep us mesmerized. We're basing our choices on a mix of powerful beats, captivating production and the sublime delivery that Wiz brings to all his songs.

#10: "On My Level" feat. Too Short (2011)
Rolling Papers

As his career was taking off, Wiz Khalifa proved that even the hardest partying couldn't throw him off his game. 'On My Level' sees the rapper celebrating the success of his Taylor Gang label, while showing he's still as hungry as ever. The blown out synths contrast the subdued beat, and give each chorus a dramatic step up from the verses. Though veteran rapper Too Short gets a bit nasty on his verse, his grimy delivery fits perfectly.  The upbeat energy also helped the track go platinum in the US. Next to Wiz's more insightful raps, 'On My Level' is him at his most eccentric and confident.

#9: "No Sleep" (2011)
Rolling Papers

Despite a lot of delays in between their individual contributions, Benny Blanco and Wiz Khalifa created 'No Sleep' from spontaneous creativity.  The track's cheery pianos and distorted keyboards set the stage for carefree hangouts with friends. Wiz runs with this idea and sings about enjoying the weekend so much that you never actually rest. Blanco wanted to capture the spirit of Khalifa's feel-good tracks, while bringing his own banging drums into the mix. Though it took some time to get the song right, it eventually debuted at number six on the Billboard Hot 100. Khalifa's ecstatic performance still has us living it up to 'No Sleep.'

#8: "This Plane" (2009)
Deal Or No Deal

In Wiz's early days, 'This Plane' was his way of showing fans that he wasn't letting fame get to him. Khalifa compares his career to a plane, and says he's flying at top speed with no plans to bring things down. Nevertheless, he still shows love for his Pittsburgh roots while explaining that haters follow you with or without celebrity. Wiz brings his smooth flow over the trippy synths and guitar, and effortlessly transitions to his addictive chorus lines. Even though 'This Plane' breaks down the darker realities of stardom, it still manages to be a fun party anthem.

#7: "Say Yeah" (2008)
Single

With a pounding beat and steady flow, Wiz Khalifa updated a dance-floor anthem on 'Say Yeah.' Khalifa however reveals he's more about smart women and hard work, and even seems to parody generic rap lyrics.  One verse has him calling his friends Pocahontas and Rain Man without ever making the rhymes feel forced. The fast-paced electronics from a sample of 'Better Off Alone' just make moving to the track that much easier. Whether you like the dance music or Khalifa's flow, 'Say Yeah' is an infectious banger.

#6: "Roll Up" (2011)
Rolling Papers

After 'Black and Yellow' helped Wiz Khalifa hit the masses, 'Roll Up' showed he he wasn't afraid to be vulnerable as well. The laidback sound and grooves from a collaboration with producer Stargate also marked a turning point in Khalifa's music. When a woman's partner isn't putting enough effort into their relationship, Wiz uses some clever weed puns to show he'll be there. Though there's undoubtedly a sexual undertone to the lyrics, Khalifa insists he'll be a reliable friend if the woman needs that. The wholesome lyrics and ambitious change of pace keep us listening to 'Roll Up.'

#5: "Work Hard, Play Hard" (2012)
O.N.I.F.C.

While Wiz's fourth album stepped away from single-heavy pop, he brought an almost shocking lyrical maturity to 'Work Hard, Play Hard.' Khalifa boasts about his all or nothing lifestyle through brilliant lines like 'The bigger the bill, the harder you ball.' Through his faster than usual raps, Wiz also says that he's moving on while others are still stealing his style. The deep bass and boisterous beats match Wiz Khalifa's attitude, while the epic synths tie it all together. Khalifa's message was so universal that politicians like Marco Rubio actually quoted the song. No matter who says it, 'Work Hard, Play Hard' is classic Wiz.

#4: "Young, Wild & Free" feat. Bruno Mars (2011)
Mac & Devin Go To High School

As Wiz and Snoop Dogg were writing the soundtrack for their own movie, they found a track they knew would be a hit. 'Young, Wild & Free' turns its goofy piano hook into a celebration of youth and, you guessed it, weed. Though it centers around enjoying vices, the moral of the song encourages listeners to consider the consequences of their actions. With Bruno Mars' contagious vocals and the subtle coughs, the track keeps a light party atmosphere going. While the movie didn't do too well, the track was a top-ten hit around the world. Everyone's chipper chemistry made 'Young, Wild & Free' an easy song to love.

#3: "See You Again" feat. Charlie Puth (2015)
Furious 7: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack

In light of Paul Walker's death, Wiz Khalifa and Charlie Puth were tasked with paying the actor a proper musical tribute. Puth drew inspiration from his own friend's death, and wrote his heartbreaking chorus as a conversation to him. Wiz discusses the long road two friends took together, as he helps meld the pop and hip hop sides of the track. Just as Khalifa's praise for family make things emotional, Puth delivers a tear-jerking cry to send things over-the-top. The moving ballad quickly became the longest running rap number one on the Billboard Hot 100. Touching and memorable, 'See You Again' is collaborative magic.

#2: "We Dem Boyz" (2014)
Blacc Hollywood

Wiz Khalifa rose from humble beginnings and always praises hard work, and 'We Dem Boyz' celebrates the riches he's earned. The track mixes a banger beat and a bit of auto-tune for an aggressive track with accessible sounds. Wiz wanted a proper anthem in his backlog, but he was also searching for audiences beyond the rap world. He raps through all the fun his fame has brought him, along with people chasing his celebrity. The simple but effective hip hop production stood out immediately, prompting plenty of parodies online. By taking things back to basics, 'We Dem Boyz' became synonymous with Wiz and trap music.   Before we get to our top pick, here are a few honorable mentions:   "Hopeless Romantic" feat. Swae Lee (2018) Wiz Khalifa

"Promises" (2014) Wiz Khalifa
"The Thrill" feat. Empire Of The Sun (2009) Wiz Khalifa

#1: "Black and Yellow" (2011)
Rolling Papers

From its first ringing bells, 'Black And Yellow' gets stuck in your head and never lets go. The song's trap beats and repetitive hook gets people moving and chanting to each of Wiz Khalifa's powerful choruses. As he shouts the colors of his native Pittsburgh, Khalifa talks about his local pride and what it means to others. He even names off black and yellow wines, while adding that his diamonds also follow the titular color scheme. As Wiz's first number one in the U.S., it became both his calling card as well as proof that he had a long career ahead of him.
